WIRED/WIRELESSROMING SOLUTION:
The need for a seamless internet access experience amongst business travelers regardless of their connection methods has inspired inter-touch to develop the Wired / Wireless Roaming Solution. With this, guests are assigned a username and password with which they use to log on to the inter-touch network, wherever they may be in a meeting room, lobby or in their own rooms.
ERA networks co. has finished this project with making about more than 700 points for the access points at nearly three months.
Taking into consideration that the Fairmont hotel is a five-star hotel and our works are building the IT infrastructure network for the Fairmont hotel including civil works like making paths for cables inside rooms, fixing Racks inside IT Rooms and also fixing trunks on the corridors and rooms, and from the other side cables laying from IT Room to about 37 points at each floor.
All extended cables are tested by using DTX Cable Analyzer TM series which is a copper certification tester guarantees cabling installations comply with TIA/ISO standards.
Showing the steps of our works:
1-fixing trunks
We have fixed trunks inside IT rooms, Corridors and the vertical trunk which go through the risers' holes.
2-cable running:
We run the cables on both the vertical and the horizontal trunks.
3-cable tying:
As shown in the following figure cables are extended in the trunk and tied by MEYEL CABLE TIES.
4-entering cables into the rack:
After running cables we have to connect (punch) the edge of cables to the patch panels.
5-connecting the IT rooms:
As shown in the following figure the two trunks which are on the left of the figure are for:
*Connecting IT rooms with other Rooms.
*Connecting IT Rooms with each others.
The following figure shows the final shape of the Rake and the connected trunks inside IT Room.
